It's been an amazing four months, and I have enjoyed having so much time to spend on my practice. It's been GREAT!

I am working on a linocut today. I'm not sure if it's finished yet, but here it is so far. It's called 'Neukölln Sunrise'.

Print/collage/photos

So, I just finished my print. I don't really like it but never mind! I've just started working on a collage which hopefully will become a print in the end... We'll see.

Quick post

I'm still working on my print, I'm finding it quite difficult to get into so it's taking time...
But here's a photo I took today, I'll definitely be using this building for a piece of work soon.

I haven't posted for a while cause I got a bit distracted by sunshine and festivals. But I am back now.

Lithograph

I did a lithograph today. Here it is.

And this is the plate in progress before I began printing. This is after I had done the drawing, but before I had done the processes to fix the design onto the plate. The red and blue is watercolour pencil, and the black is marker pen.

So I had a little break while my brothers came to visit me...
But in the past couple of days I've been working on a new collage (and finishing the old one too).
Here's the new one in progress. I'll hopefully finish it later today.

And here's the old one with a couple of subtle additions. Definitely finished now.

I've started doing a big collage on the wall.
Yes, I am sticking white paper to a white wall. This is only the beginning.

Finished woodcut

Just been finishing my woodcut on this rainy Sunday afternoon.
Here are a couple of different versions.

Two prints

So, I tried another lithograph today. I am quite pleased with it, although I'm finding it difficult thinking in terms of line instead of colour. But I think that this is a good thing.

 

I've also been working on another woodcut.

I'm going to have to do some serious sweeping later.

A drawing and a mishap

I'm having a bit of a lithograph disaster. But on the plus side I did a drawing that I like.

I will persevere.

Another factory

I went for a cycle with Greta today. I took some photos of another fantastic factory. I'll definitely be using some of these to make work from very soon.

 Oh, me and Ellie didn't manage a print in the end, there was just too much sunshine.
